Let me start by saying I HATE LUCAS. I have hated him from the start of this series. The first three books were annoying, I enjoyed the fourth book the most. Then came Love You Anyways I still hate Lucas, he is self centered, egotistical and a bully when it comes to Tessa. He thinks the world revolves around him, except when it comes to his kids. Tessa suffers a great loss and Lucas just won't give time to grieve and heal. Mean while you got poor Tessa trying to heal and has mixed up emotions. In some areas Lucas has grown up and other areas not so much. M.J. Fields made me laugh, cry and want to punch something. Even with all this I was still entertained with this book. M.J. Fields did the series justice with this book. In my opinion it was a great conclusion to the series. If you have read the first four books then in my opinion you should read this book.Product details

What can I say but simply Amazing. What an incredible end to one fantastic series. This book is all about second chances. Lucas and Tessa have had a rollercoaster relationship since the beginning that has brought them to right where they needed to be. A lot of happiness and heartache along the way but that just made this book so much more. If you want to read a book that will have you laughing out loud and crying when needed this is the one for you an incredible love story that will stay with me for a long time to come.
I can't even describe how much I loved this book. Tessa makes me laugh, as she has not changed at all. She is still the crazy, not in control of her emotions, pain in the ass, love as hard as she can girl that she was 20 years ago. And I am so glad to say that I love Lucas. He has matured so much and I just adore how he adores his children. Not everyone gets the chance to love twice in their lives. It couldn't have happened to a better couple 😃 Another fine book MJ!! ❤️
What a great way to end this part of the Love series. This series has been one big emotional rollercoaster and it was completely worth reading every book. Tessa and Lucas years down the road, always finding a way back to each other throughout all the pain, doubt, heartache and everything else. I can't wait to find out what the sister series for the Love series has to show!
I fell in love with all the white hat boys, the Ross' and of course lucas, Ryan, and tommy.... Cried, I laughed and I waited very patiently to see where this story might end up.
Jade, phoebe and Tessa have a friendship I hope to be able to replicate because it's pure.
The love everyone has for everyone in this book is aw inspiring and if I could give this book or the series more than 5 stars I would! I loved loved loved tis hella good book!

This second chance for Lucas and Tessa made me happy after I got over the shock of Collin. I recommend this book but read it after you have read The Legacy Series so it will make more sense.
First love the title of this book set 20 yrs later, and I love that the author added this to the series. I saw 2 additional series that include Tessa and Lucas but I just wanted to read this book first to see where MJ takes us. The story in Lucas' POV was a fantastic start to this book at this point in the series. I loved it. Lucas knows who he is and has grown and changed a lot but you still see some of the old Lucas in there. Tessa, poor Tessa has lost so much to lose her true love Collin saving their daughter's life your heart breaks for her. It was great to see the whole family and all those kids, that is just so cool and they are all so close. I really enjoyed this whole series as painful as some of the stuff Lucas has done and it really got to me but the story was beautiful. I loved the letters from Collin and the ending was spectacular. Great work MJ.
I am definitely a second chance romance kind of girl, I love them like no other, that being said I had mixed feelings about this one. I cried ( yes, ladies and gents literally cried) because of Collin. I was so happy when everything had settled and him and Tessa were finally one the same page and then bang. Sighsssss.
Ok that aside this was a good story, with all the intricate pieces that I associate with MJ Fields. I guess it makes sense that it came full circle and Tessa and Lucas ended up together and got their happily ever after. I'm just spoiled, lol
